What's on: Thursday

As always, I'll point you directly toward NBC's comedy lineup tonight (Earl, Office, Scrubs and 30 Rock).

If you're looking for some originality from me (you don't know me very well) then I'll point you at the premiere of THE SARAH SILVERMAN PROGRAM (COMEDY/10:30 P.M.), the cutest comic in the land's new show. It's on right after a rerun of one of the best South Park episodes ever: "Trapped in the Closet."

And, if you haven't, already done so, don't miss CSI (CBS/9 p.m.) with Liev Schreiber. He'll be gone in a couple of weeks.

Also new tonight:
ABC's lineup of Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy and Men in Trees (watch 'em on the Web); Shark on CBS; CW's Smallville and Supernatural; FOX's 'Til Death, The War at Home, and The O.C.

Guest:
It's hard to find a better guest than Bill Murray. He's on LETTERMAN (CBS/11:35 p.m.).
