What's on: Thursday

I'll get to the finales later, but ABC is giving a new show a cushy Grey's Anatomy lead-in to its premiere -- hourlong drama TRAVELER (10 p.m.) kicks off. The show centers on two friends who are framed in a terrorist attack.

MY NAME IS EARL (NBC/8 p.m.)
wraps up its second season with a "super-sized" episode -- Joy's finally going to court for boosting a truck. Guest spots by Giovanni Ribisi as Earl's old buddy and Dog the Bounty Hunter as himself. You also can't go wrong with OFFICE and SCRUBS (8:40 and 9:20 p.m., respectively).

Also wrapping up for the summer is WITHOUT A TRACE (CBS/10 p.m.) with its fifth season finale.

To be perfectly honest tonight's full of great stuff and I could go on, but here's the rundown: Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy on ABC; Survivor: Fiji and CSI on CBS; two hours of Fifth Grader on Fox; ER on NBC; Smallville and Supernatural on CW; Showbiz Show on Comedy Central; Penn & Teller on Showtime; TNA Impact and Ultimate Fighter on Spike.
